1928 (30 Jan.) envelope to Scotland "By airmail via Basrah - Cairo from Karachi" written in red ink, bears India K.G.V 3p. (2) and 1½a. (2) tied by fine strikes of the type B3 c.d.s. with black on yellow Air Mail vignette and handstruck "by/air" in circle, the reverse with Karachi (6.2) and Basrah (17.2) c.d.s.; clean and fine. This cover was prepared to catch the first flight from Karachi to Croydon. Photo
