1743 (28 May) LS written in French from Hanover, probably Herrenschloss, to Charles III of Naples and Sicily to congratulate the King on the birth of his daughter Maria Isabella Anna who would die only six years later. Signed "George R" with filing endorsement on reverse in Spanish. Written on paper folded in the usual manner to thin rectangle, sealed with wax stamp bearing crest of George II and attaching red silk ribbon to front and back Fine. Photo
