The last Clipper left Singapore at the end of November 1941, but mail by "Clipper" continued to be accepted and was via New Zealand, by Qantas and TEAL from Singapore to Auckland, then by sea to the USA and across the Atlantic Clipper to Lisbon and onto UK by KLM

1941 (3 Dec.) commercial envelope (folded and damaged at top through opening) from Kota Bharu to London, marked "Airmail throughout via Manila", franked $2 (on reverse) and showing brown sealing tape at left tied by violet Censor cachet. Very few commercial covers known bearing Kelantan $2 Sultan Ismail. Photo
