1941 (20 Dec.) envelope from Brisbane to Perak, carried by Qantas to Singapore, franked at 9½d., showing Censor label at left tied by cachet, framed "no service" and "retour" h.s. due to most of northern Malaya being occupied; 1942 (23 Jan.) envelope from Singapore to England and carried by shuttle service to Batavia, then via Port Blair and Rangoon, franked at 50c. with FPO SP 501 datestamp and showing RAF Censor cachet; and 1942 (4 Feb.) envelope from Singapore to Sydney, marked "OAS" and carried by the last flying-boat out of Singapore (the "Camilla" captained by W.H. Crowther) on the shuttle service from Tjilatjap to Broome (the Singapore to Batavia shuttle ceased operation on 6 February), franked at 20c. (5c. underpaid) and showing Censor label and cachets.
