The Brisbane - Singapore section of the Australia - England route was inaugurated on 10 December, with Qantas operating the Brisbane - Darwin section, and Imperial, under contract to Qantas, the Darwin - Singapore section. The mail left Darwin on 13 December and arrived in Singapore on the 15th.
1933 (4 Nov.) envelope from Singapore to Wellington and re-addressed to Auckland, marked "By Australian Air Mail", franked at 20c. and showing "by air mail" etiquette
