1856 (11 May) entire from Cadiz, Spain "Via Canarias Paqte Ingles" to Buenos Aires, bearing 1855 2r. reddish violet on blue vertical pair cancelled and tied by oval of bars, showing despatch datestamp in blue and with a fine strike of the Crowned Circle "paid/at/teneriffe" handstamp in black, Tenerife double -arc datestamp (16.8) on reverse.
