1855 (4 June) entire (no side flaps) from Medina, Spain "Via de Canarias" to Buenos Aires, disinfected with a series of small slits and bearing 1855 2r. reddish violet on blue horizontal pair cancelled and tied by oval of bars, showing despatch datestamp in blue and with a fine strike of the Crowned Circle "paid/at/teneriffe" handstamp in black, Tenerife double -arc datestamp (17.6) on reverse. An attractive and very rare combination of a Crowned Circle used with Spanish stamps. S.G. CC2. Photo
