Aethelred II (978-1016), Penny, 1.43g, Helmet type, London, Aelfwine, bust left in armour and radiate helmet, rev. +ÆLFPINE MΩO LVND, long cross voided, each limb terminating in three crescents, over square with three pellets at each point (N775; S1152), the obverse is overstruck on a reverse of the same type , a few peck marks, better than very fine.
