Great Britain Postal History The following thirty-five lots comprise a recently discovered group of letters of complaint addressed to the Post Office. Unless otherwise specified they are the contents only 1848 (22 Mar.) from Rear Admiral P.V. Douglas to Colonel William Maberley, repeating his request for clarification as to the correct rate for newspaper to H.M. Ship Asia in the Pacific, endorsed "Mr. Newton have the papers in question reached your office" and "cannot be found". An interesting letter with a reference to a "2d. stamp" Estimate £ 150-200
