No. 11 1885 (18 Dec.) envelope to Caulfield, Melbourne, bearing 2d. lilac cancelled with fine "up train/m.g.11" small c.d.s. (the earliest recorded date of use), Caulfield and Melbourne c.d.s. on reverse, 1896 (7 Apr.) 1d. orange card (repaired spike hole) from Ararat to Melbourne with a request for "three barrels of beer first train, completely out", cancelled with largely fine "up train/m.g.11" c.d.s with arrival c.d.s. (8.4) on reverse, and 1908 (1 Jan.) card to England bearing 1d. red cancelled with "t.p.o. 11/up" Commonwealth type c.d.s.
