The Company was founded in 1906 by an initiative of group of investors from Brianza to build a railway in the valley of Lambro. The Company obtained a concession for the construction and operation of a railway line between Monza and Molteno, which was opened in 1911 and was initially managed by the Ferrovie Nord Milano. Soon the Company found itself in financial difficulties and went into liquidation in 1919. The operation was then taken over by the Railway Monza-Molteno-Oggiono. EF.
