Undated cover from Pejerreyes to Compañía, bearing a diagonal half of Third London Printing 10c., cut slightly into at left, large margined at top, tied by "Cancelled" barred oval with superb matching "PEJERREYES/EST./CHILE" circular handstamp. Located in northern Chile near Ovalle, Pejerreyes was established in 1864, a fact which serves to demonstate the immense scarcity of this postmark used in combination with the imperf. issues. An extremely rare "Estafeta" usage.
