Commercial Bank Corporation of India & the East, China, bill of exchange for £21 and 12 shillings, Shanghai, 6 March 1865, serial number 374, This bank was founded in 1849 and started issuing banknotes in Hong Kong in 1866, but circulation was soon ceased later in ths year due to economic troubles. No banknotes in any form are known to exist, therefore this is the closest a collector can get to its banknotes. PMG 50 About Uncirculated (pen cancelled, toning). Very Scarce
