The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, $10, 2.5.1959, low serial number 000002 GA, green and pink, Ceres top left, coat of arms bottom left, reverse green, angel playing a trumpet above the old HSBC building,
(Pick 182a), PMG 67EPQ Superb Gem Uncirculated. The second issued note of the small sized $10 which is two notes apart from the previous lot. Exceedingly rare especially when offered together with the previous lot and a must-have note for any serious collector of vintage Hong Kong banknotes. The buyer who spends the highest amount on this section will receive as a gift 4x Bank of England notes as well as an original HSBC envelope used at the time bearing the Bank's chop.
