1901 (6 Feb.) envelope addressed to Captain A.H.B. Hume, 4th Balloon Section R.E., China Field Force, Peking bearing C.E.F. 1a. tied by F.P.O. No.4 c.d.s. and redirected "c/o Post Commandant Liu-ka-chao", the reverse bears an array of F.P.O. datestamps for numbers 1, 2 and 5 along with a very fine strike of the large double-circle "balloon section/royal engineers/feb 16" with the day in manuscript; a little roughly opened and with some age faults.
