China, Qing Dynasty, Tibet, CONTEMPORARY FORGERY silver presentation 1 tael sycee, ND (stamped Qian Long on reverse, 1735-1796), weighs 36.0g, in the shape of the Parasol, which is among the 8 Auspicious Symbols, also known as the Ashtamangala. The Parasol represents the protection of beings from harmful forces and illness; symbolising the expansiveness, unfolding and protective quality of the sahasrara. Extremely Fine.
