x Victoria 1865 (25 Oct.) blue envelope from Melbourne "Via Marseilles" to London, bearing 1863-74 Laureated 10d. grey neatly cancelled with "victoria" duplex and showing London Paid c.d.s. (18.12) at centre; a couple of light folds well clear of the adhesive. One of the finest examples of this scarce franking, of which Kellow records about ten examples. S.G. 119a.
