x Victoria 1855 (8 Jan.) mourning envelope from Melbourne "p ´Argo´ S.S." to London, rated "d6" and bearing 1854 Woodblock imperforate 2/- dull bluish green (minor edge wear) with good to large margins and cancelled with Barred Oval "1", despatch oval d.s. alongside, arrival c.d.s. (17.3) on reverse. The envelope a little soiled though an unusual single franking of the 2/- value paying double the 1/- foreign letter rate. S.G. 35. Photo Estimate £ 250-300
