Southport Pier Co. Ltd., 6% debenture for £100, 1920, black, about extremely fine. Only 200 issued. The 3600 foot pier opened in 1860 and was extended twice in the 1860´s bringing it to 4380 feet. Acquired by the local authority in 1936. Like many piers it was subject to fire and the pavilion burnt down no less than 3 times. It is currently the second longest pier in the country.
