R.G.A. 1911.´, with ´Palman Qui Meruit Ferat´ top riband bar (RATA.14), extremely fine, scarce Royal Army Temperance Association, Prince of Wales´ Medal, silver (Hallmarks for Birmingham 1909) (RATA.15), extremely fine, rare Royal Army Temperance Association, King Edward VII Coronation Medal 1902, silver (RATA.16), extremely fine Royal Army Temperance Association, King George V Coronation Medal 1911 (2), silver (RATA.17), extremely fine (5) Estimate £ 40-60 The Award of Merit Medal was presented by the Council to Members of the Association ´´for good work done in the cause.´´ The member had to be a total abstainer, have served at least one year in the Army Temperance Association, and have been recommended by his Branch. The Prince of Wales´´ Medal was instituted in 1906, to commemorate the Visit of the Prince of Wales (later King George V) to India, 1905-06, and was awarded annually to one soldier in every corps serving in India for meritorious service in the cause of Temperance.
