Saunders. 37th Regt.), suspension claw tightened, minor edge bruising, therefore nearly very fine Estimate £ 240-280 2737 Sergeant George Saunders, born Taunton, Somerset; enlisted 37th Foot, 1846; served with the Regiment during the Indian Mutiny and ´´he was wounded in action near Arrah, Dinapore on the 29th July 1857´´ (Service Papers refer); Sergeant 1858; discharged 1868, after 21 years and 69 days service with the Colours.
