x Sudan British Military Forces in Egypt and Sudan, 1801 to 1913 The Arabi Rebellion 1882 1882 (18 Nov.) four page card "review/of the/troops recently returned from egypt" giving a complete order of the march past plus a printed three page Memorandum (a little foxed) of the review; 1884 (1 Dec.0 small piece of paper bearing Arabi´s autograph; and 1900 (16 May) envelope (opened-out; with letter) from London to Cape Town franked at 1d. The letter, signed by Major Mourdant Edwards who, as a Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry, won the Victoria Cross on 13th September 1882 at Tel-el-Kebir Estimate £ 120-150
