Uganda 1898-1902 De La Rue Issue Covers and Cancellations nimuli: 1903 (29 May) envelope from the Belgian Consular Envoy to Belgium, bearing 1a. carmine-rose and 2a. each with light and identifiable strikes of the c.d.s., the reverse with Hoima (7.6), Mombasa (23.6), Zanzibar (25.6), La Reunion A Marseilles (26.6) and Maeseyck (15.7) c.d.s.; the envelope with trivial imperfections though believed to be the earliest recorded date of use of this datestamp.
