Uganda 1896 Type-Set Issue 1898 (Aug.) 20z. rate blue envelope (230x115mm.) from Archdeacon Walker to one of his brothers in London and redirected locally, bearing 4a., with small "O" variety, cancelled with pencil and blue crayon crosses and in combination with B.E.A. 5a. pair cancelled with Mombasa c.d.s. (13.9) in bright blue (scarce - only in use for two months), another type-set 4a. removed or stolen in transit, the reverse with Zanzibar (16.9) and Paddington (15.10) c.d.s.; some gum stains around the type-set stamp and age spotting in places though a scarce and unusual franking.
