Great Britain Line Engraved 1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown Covers 1849 (14 Feb.) envelope from Canada to Forres, Scotland, with red Montreal Paid datestamp and endorsed by Lord Elgin at lower-left, re-addressed to the Carlton Club, London on arrival and with 1841 1d. applied to pay to Inland Postage, on reverse Forres and blue Aberdeen datestamps, small faults but good appearance and scarce usage on a letter from overseas.
