Great Britain Line Engraved 1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown Covers 1848 (21 Sept.) envelope from Canada to Forres, Scotland, endorsed "Elgin" (Governor General of Canada) and with red Montreal Paid datestamp, re-addressed on arrival to Gordon Castle with 1841 1d. CJ affixed to pay the inland postage, reverse with Forres and green boxed Fochabers datestamps; some faults but scarce usage on a re-addressed letter from Canada. Photo Estimate £ 80-100
