Great Britain Line Engraved 1840 Two Pence Blue Plate 1 AF and AG singles, tied by Preston blue-black Maltese Cross cancellations to entire dated 24 May 1842 to Manchester with matching Preston datestamp on flap on reverse, opening well for display but crossed by a strengthened tear, AG touched at top, otherwise good to large margins all round.
