Essex Regt), contact marks throughout, suspension slack on last, nearly very fine (2) Estimate £ 120-160 5793 Private Uriah Macey, born London; served throughout the Boer War with 1st Battalion, Essex Regiment, continuing his service with the 2nd Battalion, Essex Regiment during the Great War; he died of wounds at home, 22.9.1914, and is buried in Netley Military Cemetery, Hampshire.
