R.); British War and Victory Medals (3-1989 Pte. C. Perkins. Essex R.), first two with contact marks, nearly very fine, otherwise good very fine (5) Estimate £ 180-220 5493 Private Charles Perkins, born Maldon, Essex; served during the Great War with the Essex Regiment in the French Theatre of War, from 24.11.1914; he died of wounds at home 20.4.1915, and is buried in Guildford Cemetery.
