Not Local [i.e. locality unknown], R. B., Halfpennies (2), man working in loom, spinning-wheel on right, rev. cypher RB within shield which divides 1 7 at top, A C in the centre, ? below (DH. p. 547, Not Local 1), very fine and nearly very fine for the issue, extremely rare (2) Estimate £ 120-150 The slightly less worn of these two specimens is that illustrated in DH. The other (illustrated above) provides a fuller but not, unfortunately, a complete picture of the types for each side for this inadequately struck issue. There are possibly further characters above the loom, which could be IAL when seen at a certain angle
