Bulgaria, Kingdom, Medal for the Conquest of Constantinople, 50mm, bronze, uniface, very fine and rare Estimate £ 150-200 This medal was designed for the expected triumphant entry of the Bulgarian Army into Constantinople during the Balkan Wars 1912-13. Following the Bulgarian Army´´s defeat the dies were destroyed- however, a few specimens survived.
