Great Britain Postal Stationery 1895 (11 Dec.) large registered stamped-to-order envelope from London to Quebec, Canada, manuscript "via New York", with 1/2d. red, 1d. pink and 3 1/2d. orange (Higgins 1a, 5 and 6c respectively) and additional 1883-84 1d. lilac, 1887-1900 Jubilee 6d. and 10d. strip of three, all tied by hooded registered cancellations, the reverse with arrival (23.12) c.d.s.; a couple of vertical creases not affecting adhesives, etc; also further 1895 (6 June) stamped to order envelope from London to New York, manuscript"Per ´Normainia´ ss/Via Southampton" with 3d. red, 3 1/2d. orange, 4d. orange-red (Higgins 12b, 6c and 13b respectively) and additional 1883-84 1d. lilac, 1887-1900 1/2d. vermilion, tied by hooded circle cancellations and arrival (14.6) on reverse.
