Markings. 1863 (16 July) neat stampless envelope sent via England to a Ship´s Captain in Paris, struck with "angl./amb.calais f" c.d.s. and framed "après/le/depart" in black with rare usage of manuscript "Art. 43" at left, charged "12" decimes due in black.The manuscript "Art. 43" was used when envelopes missed the "GB/1Fr. 90c." marking.
