British Guiana Covers and Cancellations Inland Mail 1894 (2 Nov.) "O.S." printed circular from the Office of the Medical Board, Georgetown, to Dr. Reid at "Eccles E Bank", showing a fine strike of the "official/paid" boxed h.s. with a set of initials at centre (T&H OP1, Proud OPD5) and cancelled with Georgetown c.d.s. A rare handstamp of which only seven examples are recorded, this being the example mentioned in the Townsend handbook. Photo Estimate £ 400-500
