British Guiana Postal Stationery Wrappers 1884 1c. green collection with various printings on different coloured stock, comprising two perforated "specimen" (one from the U.P.U. archive collection in Berne with file number), one overprinted "specimen" (T&H type 3, previously only recorded on postcards), unused (2) and used (7) including one from Mahaica 11 June 1891 (the earliest recorded date of use) to the Surgeon-General in Georgetown which should have been sent free, one to Bremen in 1892 (the earliest recorded use of the 1c. rate to a foreign destination), and others to England and Austria even though only valid for use in the Colony; generally good to fine Estimate £ 100-120
