Three plaster portrait medals from the workshop of G Eichler, Berlin; Albrecht Herzog von Preussen, half bust left, unsigned; Elise Doebler, head right, signed on truncation fischer berlin; and Charlotte v. Hagn, bare head right, signed and dated on truncation fischer berlin 1844, all uniface, 95mm., all extremely fine, in original circular metal frames, with Eichler, Berlin labels on reverse (3) Estimate £ 100-200 Johann Karl Fischer (1802-65), medallist and gem-engraver at Berlin, was noted for his numerous medallic portraits of celebrities. He worked for the Loos workshop as well as for Eichler.
