A Gentleman Cadet´s uniform of the Royal Military Academy An Edwardian Woolwich cadet´s Full Dress and Mess Dress, comprising a blue cloth helmet of officer´s pattern but with gilt metal fittings (somewhat rubbed) of modest quality, including an ORs´ pattern spike-base (lacking ball, chin-chain and one rosette), good pale leather internal headband (silk element of lining missing); a good Full Dress tunic with scarlet collar and piping as for RA officers but without lace, plain gold cord loops to shoulders, KC buttons, buff cotton lining with label inscribed in manuscript Mr Anstruther; a good blue mess-jacket of pre-1902 style, with scarlet facings and gilt studs to front, Russia braid loops on shoulders, scarlet lining with label as for tunic; companion scarlet waistcoat, also with gilt studs; and a blue forage cap with scarlet band and welt, bearing a good gilt badge of the RMA (5)
