Johnstone, 42nd Rl. Highlanders); Turkish Crimea, Sardinian die, pierced as issued, with later claw suspension, light contact marks overall, therefore very fine (3) Estimate £ 420-460 Two ´John Johnstone´s´ appear on the rolls as having served in the 42nd Royal Highlanders at the time, both sharing the same medal entitlement. Their respective Regimental Numbers were ´1552´ and ´3582´. One group is known to have been held in the D. Huxstep Collection.
