Sudan The Nile Expedition 1884-85 1885 (5 Mar.) envelope ex the "Anley" correspondence to Woolwich, with letter written at "The Camp, Korti", bearing Egypt 1884 20pa. on 5pi. (2) tied by bi-lingual "korti" c.d.s., showing another fine strike and arrival c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with recipient´s note at top left and red ink "24" at lower left; a few minor peripheral tears etc. Photo Estimate £ 600-800provenance: H.
