x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1923 (10 Mar.) envelope to Croydon, bearing "Saorstat" 1/2d. (2) and 1d. tied by fine light strikes of the very rare "long puist/dhuin laoghaire" c.d.s.; light cover crease not detracting from the fine clean appearance. This c.d.s. was used only on the mail packets going to and from Holyhead, only a handful of covers are known and most are dated 10 March (the last day of this service). Photo Estimate £ 480-550
