x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1861 (26 Oct.) envelope to Liverpool, bearing 1d. ´stars´ tied by fine light Cork duplex cancellation with superb oval "royal victoria hotel/cork/post paid" handstamp alongside; fine, clean and very attractive.In the 1830´s the Post Office gave certain business offices the permission to use "Post Paid" markings - this cover being a late example of such usages.
