Cape of Good Hope 1855-63 1/- deep dark green with clear to large margins neatly cancelled with triangular obliterator on 1863 (9 May) envelope from Bedford to London, rated "11" in red crayon and showing London Paid c.d.s. for 23 June below the adhesive, Bedford and Cape Town d.s. on reverse; the envelope slightly refolded and with small adhesive tape marks at top and foot well clear of the adhesive.
