Wei Hai Wei The Chinese Imperial Post Office 1904 (June) envelope addressed to Stewart Lockhart bearing C.I.P. 1c. (3) tied by indistinct Chinese postmark, the flap bears part strikes of Chefoo bilingual c.d.s. and double-circle "weihaiwei" datestamp in violet. Sadly the flap was torn on opening and a segment is missing (including parts to the two postmarks), nevertheless the latest recorded use of the type 4 dater in violet Estimate HK$ 1,500-2,500
