Wei Hai Wei The China Expeditionary Force The China Medal The medal with ribbon and bar "relief of pekin" awarded to "a.lawson, pte r.m. nl depot wei-hai-wei"; in fine condition. The Marines formed part of Admiral Seymour´s abortive relief column, 72 were awarded the China Medal with clasp. Private Lawson served on Centurian (1898), Undaunted (1898-99) and Aurora (1899-1900).
