Wei Hai Wei Courier Post 1898 2c. black on red and 5c. black on red unused singles which show some discolouration. Photo Estimate HK$ 4,000-6,000It is probable that these examples were from the collection of Captain W.A. Harrison (the co-designer of these stamps). His collection was in his suitcase when he was travelling on the ´Cormarin´; in order to put out a fire, the baggage and neighbouring holds were flodded. His stamps were saved, but suffered some loss of colour
