Lewis CF), all Second War Medals similarly privately engraved; Africa Star; Italy Star; Defence and War Medals, M.I.D. Oak Leaf; Cadet Forces Medal, with Bar, G.VI.R. (Cdt. Capt. R.R. Lewis), contact marks, very fine, mounted as originally worn, with 12 official photographs, Chaplains Cap Badge, Shoulder Boards and Titles (6) Estimate £ 150-200Reverend Richard Rice Lewis, educated at Jesus College, Oxford University; Assistant Master Brentwood School 1925-33 and 1934-61; Assistant Chaplain 1936-47; Cadet Forces 1941-45; joined the Royal Army Chaplain´s Department June 1941and was posted in the same month to 19 Casualty Clearing Station, Northern Ireland; embarked for the Middle East (Egypt) with 65 General Hospital, May 1942; posted Middle East Forces Medical Establishments, June 1943; served in North Africa with 63 General Hospital, September 1943, with 10 Corps December 1943 until February 1944 when he was posted to the 2/5th Queen´s Regiment; after a period of sick leave he embarked for the Central Mediterranean Forces (Italy), June 1945 (M.I.D. London Gazette 29.11.1945, Italy); Chaplain 1947; Cadet Forces 1950-58; Honory Chaplain to the Forces 1958.
