Indian Mutiny 1857-58, one clasp, Lucknow (B. Selby, 2nd Dragn. Gds.), lacquered, disk pierced and plugged at 1 o´ clock, suspension claw probably replaced, nearly very fine Estimate £ 250-300279 Sergeant Benjamin Selby, born Hertford; enlisted 2nd Dragoon Guards, 1853; received a ´slight wound on left arm near elbow caused by sword thrust on 6th March 1858 at Lucknow´ (service record refers); Sergeant 1865; discharged 1868; died 1905.
