1841 1d., RJ, margins all round (enormous at top with portion of adjoining stamp) on entire to Moreton-in-Marsh, tied by very fine light strike of the blue “706” numeral of Shipston, the cover showing Shipston-on-Stour, Stow-on-the-Wold and Morton-in-Marsh double-arc d.s´s (all struck in shades of blue or blue-green); some minor faults or cover detractions though still most attractive.
