Royal Flying Corps Sweetheart Brooches and other items A circular locket, the inside stamped 9 CT engraved on front with RFC pilot's Wings; an RFC sweetheart brooch in the form of pilot's Wings, stamped "STERLING"; a similar brooch, stamped SILVER; a Wings brooch with engraved detail, stamped STERLING; a Wings brooch, stamped STERLING SILVER, with enamelling to crown, monogram and wreath; a Wings brooch in gilding metal with enamel to crown, centre and motto-scroll; a small Wings badge in gilding metal; a circular tortoiseshell badge, with HM silver rim, inlaid with RFC monogram within crowned wreath;a similar tortoiseshell badge, inlaid with Pilot's Wings; a brooch in the style of the RFC cap-badge, stamped STERLING, with enamel to crown and monogram; a very small white metal badge, in the same style, with enamelled monogram mounted on the wreath (fixings removed); and a brooch, stamped 9ct, in the form of a biplane, the reverse engraved LBW 27-10-14 ELW (12) Estimate £ 400-600
