A Georgian Officer's Sword With curved, fullered 251/2 in. blade, possibly originally of 1803 Infantry officer's pattern, etched with GR cypher, Royal Arms and Trophy, the blade apparently shortened by some five inches (the tip now barely extending beyond the end of the fuller), with an elegant steel multi-bar guard of non-regulation pattern, plain backstrap incorporating the pommel, and (slightly chipped) grip of chequered ivory (no scabbard) See illustration Estimate £ 100-150
